Football is Life for me! Ever since I could figure out how to work a TV remote control, it was everything football. Whether it was cheerleading for my high school football team, college team or just cheering for my favorite NFL Team, everything about the game caught my attention. From the hard hitting to the touchdown celebrations in the endzone….how could one woman not have a passion for the game of football. Me myself, the determination and the heart that these players put on the field every Sunday is the reason why I love this game!
Two weeks from this Friday, the Cincinnati Bengals will be in my hometown, Georgetown, Kentucky with the start of the 2009 Training Camp. So far reports have suggested that this is the best team that Marvin Lewis has put together. They had a great draft class and a couple of solid free agent signings. With the Return of a healthy Carson Palmer a lot of expectations are surfacing for the Bengals. The defense showed a lot of improvement late in the season last year, and wit the edition of Laveranues Coles and a ready to go Ocho Cinco the team should have a chance at competing for a playoff spot instead of what seemed to have been in the past, a dreadful franchise. However, the only thing that could stop the run for a playoff spot would be the lack of experience with the O-line. Carson Palmer and the O-line need more chemistry and once that is said and done with all of the additions that the Bengals have added this year, we may see the 2005 team back!
