Bench Him!!!

I went over and over in my head the direction I would go this week for my blog. No cute little sayings, no details on my weekend or my Fantasy Football, just straight to the point. As if the title wasn’t enough. We lost 23-3 on Sunday to the Denver Broncos. Not to take anything away from the Broncos which to me suck, if we would have made the necessary adjustments on defense, the WR wouldn’t have ate us up and had we had a strong QB, Murphy and Heyward-Bey would have put up score after score. Our loss was unacceptable but with the person we have running point, it was bound to happen. Bench JaMarcus!

Our defense was suspect and our offense was even worse. We got penalties that were costly and looked like we had given up in the 3rd quarter. Our QB was 12/24 for 61 yards, passing and he had 2 interceptions. That’s not going to cut it. That’s not going to get us at .500 even. We have a team that’s ready to win. HELL, were capable of winning and were weakest at the most important position on the field, QB. Our Wide Receivers can’t get active with our “leader” putting up pop warner numbers like that! We have several rookies on this team that can’t benefit and won’t benefit under the leadership of JaMarcus Russell! One FG in the 2nd quarter and that field goal were the only points we put up. Our passing game has got to improve and in order to do that Tom Cable must…Al Davis must allow Tom Cable to bench JaMarcus! Our running game was only okay. McFadden 3 fumbles, we could have done without. Luckily Oakland recovered them all. We only have Seymour for a year, if he leaves; our capability to defend the runs digresses. If Al Davis doesn’t let go, we’ll be a team with a losing record for many years to come. I’m disgusted right now at the lack of effort our defense put forth and upset at the frustration Seymour displayed.

I’m disappointed that we have wide receiver rookies Murphy, Heyward-Bey and tight end Brandon Myers who came ready to perform but are hindered by Russells inability to connect. Higgens and Schillens know my frustration as they have had to deal with JaMarcus not being able to throw for the past two years. He can’t scramble or read defense. In the press conference I saw via Behind the Shield, Tom Cable never addressed the QB issue. He said “it’s everybody” No it’s not everybody TOM! its JaMarcus! With a total of 137 yards, 53 penalty yard and 3 turnovers, it’s no wonder we lost...Murphy, Howard, Mitchell and Nandi I appreciate your efforts as you fought on every down as always. Good game. Al Davis is the worst NFL team owner next to the late Georgia Frontier and I pray that somebody know some sense into him. I have two words for you Al Davis...YOU SUCK or how about LET GO. I can try CABLES TEAM or SENILE BASTARD. How about LOSING RECORD or try this OVER IT. I can say ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES, but the two words I’d like you to adhere to are BENCH JAMARCUS!

My prediction was wrong but it doesn’t matter. Next week we get I predicted us to get a W against Houston. Schaub has been playing well so hopefully we’ll make adjustments to the run and pass play and are able to pull it out. Win Lose or Tie, Ima Raider till I die

To whom it may concern (Al Davis)

First and foremost, let me start off by saying I'm a Raider fan and always will be. I support the Raiders in the good the bad and the ugly. I write every week as a Raider fan for www.gridirongals.com and no one will ever be able to change the love I have for the Oakland Raiders. With that being said, I need to tell you to pass this email to Al Davis and tell him to let the leash go. Let the team be run by the people he paid to run it. Furthermore, JaMarcus Russell ass needs to be benched. A veteran QB needs to brought in and he needs to be taught. Russell CANT lead this young team we have. Our WR are ready, Mitchell and Shaugnessy are all ready...What is AL thinking, we only Seymour for a year and with the way Davis is running this team he’s not gonna wanna stay, he is giving this team a curse, nobody wants to come here. He should be happy that Murphy and Heyward-Bey are happy to be here. They won’t ever be able to get any action if we don't get a QB who can make things happen. I'm looking at this game and don't know where I'm going to go with this blog, I’m at such a loss for words. JaMarcus needs to be benched and I'm sure Cable agrees. People have to walk on eggshells with Davis because they want their jobs. I have a headache right now watching this game. It makes me sick that we aren't living up to our potential... I mean really, seriously this doesn't make any sense. Davis is changing staff like he changes his draws... it takes time for things to work but let me tell you this. It’s not ever gonna work if Russell doesn't get some accuracy in his life and without a veteran QB to lead him it’s never going to happen. I'm going to give this email address out to all my Raider Nations on twitter and hope they flood this email with concerns like the ones I have addressed. I know AL Davis, you're going to do what you want but guess what bud? The shit aint working. How can you, after the great we've been use to, let our team CONTINUE to go down the drain like this. Make something happen, let Cable run his team. Attitude reflects leadership and right now your leadership sucks!. JaNaye
