“It’s Hard Out Here for A Pimp” by Tony Romo featuring Jerry Jones
Ouch. It’s like having an A-list house warming party only to have your most expected guest pour paint all over your new carpet. Or is it? Was that L The Cowboys took last week all that the fans (particularly fans of teams that either lost, or had funky wins, or just love to see us lose) have gone on and on about. I wore my #24 Jersey with pride. Why not? Besides the turnovers our offense looked solid. But you know I have to remember that there are certain types of fans out there. You have those that know the game because they played it, those that know the game because they watch intently, and those who are scoreboard watchers. Scoreboard watchers make comments like “The Cowboys Suck”. Yeah I said it, and I will include my email address in this blog so that you can speak to me directly about it. So I said well look, let me dumb myself down and ask, “Why do we suck”? Anyone want to guess what the #1 reason was? Okay I’ll tell you. Tony Romo.
Let’s gets some facts straight about Tony Romo and the Cowboys. Fans, we have to stop with blaming the QB for everything. Now I watched the game and there were times where he made mistakes. There was also some freaky business going on like a ball bouncing off Witten’s foot, not touching the ground and being run in for a TD. Youch. The Giants are the caliber team that will capitalize off any mistake. We gave them about 24 points. Unacceptable. I want to take some of this guilt off of Romo’s shoulder. He’s my quarterback
We were up by 1 point and our secondary couldn’t stop the pass. We let them crip walk down the field to FG position. We didn’t get to Eli at all during the game. There have been no sacks this season.
Did Tony Romo suit up with a high number jersey to play D? *blank stare* . There were also some key dropped passes. I’m not gonna name names here. Do we miss TO? Of course we do. Why? We haven’t effectively replaced him. Hi. But there is still a lot of time for show and prove in the receiver posse.Surprisingly I got the least amount of heat from Giants fans, although those that I have bet have reminded me of their winnings on more than one occasion. They know we played a great game against them and it was competitive to the last game ending FG. My father tells me all the time “Any Given Sunday…any team can win.” It’s true. Cowboys, Steelers, Pats all took a loss last week.
Tonight we play the Carolina Panthers. There are 3 things we need to remember above all else: 1. No Turnovers 2. Stop the Pass/Run 3. Convert on 3rd I’d like to add another rule directed at Flozell Adams who lead the league in penalties last year: BOI STOP K

Let’s Go Big D!

I was at Jerry World last Sunday, and just knew we were gonna have more of a reason to party, but...well, you were there.
Our secondary sucks, no question. For whatever reason, we're not getting any pressure, none, on the quarterback. We couldn't get any against Tampa Bay, but they are so bad that it didn't matter. The running game was great, but we didn't stick with it (shaking my head). I don't think we miss Owens at all (or as my main man Randy Galloway calls him, The Rat). I think if we lean on the running game some more, we'll be fine.
For now, it's time to get ready for the game, and everything that comes with it. Nice post! Go Cowboys!
bah hah! has Romo ever made it to the playoffs? im just sayin'.
Super funny
