J-E-T-S Jets! Jets! Jets!!

I've been a Jets fan since I was a little girl dragged (barbie doll in hand) to Shea Stadium to watch the Jets play the 49ers. They lost-thanks to some rookie named Montana coming in in the 3rd quarter and basically killing the defense.

That's where I caught the bug, and all these years later, in spite of logic, several relocations to football cities, and many many heartbreaks, you'll find me screaming louder than Fireman Ed.

So this season, what will I be cheering about and looking for? A few things. Namely:

Rex Ryan blowing up more than one press conference.

Mark Sanchez making some rookie mistakes, but being more Big Ben/Joe Flacco than Ely Manning.

The Jets D not being as horrible as everyone says they'll be without Calvin Pace for the first month. I know that's asking alot of Vernon Gholston, but if ever there was a time to step up this is it.

New shirts. Every female fan has a closet full. I'm no exception. Chris Pearce did a great job this season.

Best of all? NO BRETT FAVRE!!! I farkin hate him. What star player can't say they don't feel well enough to play and actually not play, then come back months later and lie about the situation and say he was forced to play? Men, when you lie, please know, we KNOW you're lying.
