NFL and why I follow the Broncos

I live in Sacramento, California and I'm writing about the Denver Broncos. Hmm...how does that happen? His name is Daddy. My dad is a die hard Denver Broncos fan. Born and raised in Denver, Colorado, its hard not to be a fan.

Cherita, why aren't you writing about the Oakland Raiders, the San Francisco 49ers or even the San Diego Chargers? Well I'm not much of a "team fan" as I am a "player fan". Some of my favorite players are Brett Favre, Darren Sharper, Brian Urlacher, Jeremy Shockey, Shawne Merriman and Troy Polamalu. Yes, Merriman does play for the Chargers, but who is to say that he will be there 7 years from now, 3 years form now, or even next season.

With that said, I will follow the team that is most rooted for in my house, the 2 time SuperBowl champs, Denver Broncos.
