Vikings 38 - Packers 26
As Favre returned home it was both rewarding & emotional for both teams. Vikings & Packers do not get along and that's just the way it is! true RIVALRY. No stats from me today, we all seen a great game and I will get into what needs to be done with my Vikings after the bye weekend.
I'm pleased that we WON and I would like to say thank you to the playmakers. Little or Small…Just get the job Done. I think Harvin is a game breaker and Rice has really emerged as a quality receiver. Our Defense is pretty good except for our safeties, they are very marginal. Does anyone know how many interceptions we have this year? Not very many considering the amount of pressure we put on the QB. It's halfway through and things are good but it's a long season and I hate it when people are just blind about reality and only dwell in their little fantasy world. We need to keep winning and beating who we should beat and playing harder each week. Study the NFC Champ film from the Falcons loss? Are you freaking kidding or are you serious? It's Detroit in two weeks and that's that. Enjoy our 1st half and hope for the best on the 2nd half. This team can win a Super Bowl and it can also get beat in the first round of the playoffs.
So all the players need Rest up, pamper & take care of their injuries, work-out, get stronger, watch the games this weekend and pull for Tampa to get their first win and Arizona to show their good side in Chicago and focus on Detroit and nothing ahead of that. Game by game-that's how the Vikings got to be 7-1. I was a little teary eyed as Favre rushed over to his injured ex-team mates side while he was laying down on the Vikings sideline..that showed me that he had Class and that he was a man before anything. A LEADER.
The Vikings need to forget about winning the division and focus on having the best record in the NFC. The Saints have a tougher schedule ahead and the Vikings should make it their mission to make sure the NFC Championship game is at home. We should start preparing for the playoffs, look over films for mistakes that we made in the last Championship game against the dirty birds and don`t let that happen again. What kind of legacy did Dennis Green leave behind? After a 15-1 season.
Have you guys & gals noticed that I speak in 3rd person as if I really play wit them....LOL, I'm HONORARY Baby!
