Yvette: When these former AFC Central division rivals get together, it's always good!
Yvonne: Yes, Hard hitting, sometimes low scoring, but never boring. Love it!
Yvette: They always seem so evenly matched. But in the Jeff Fisher era they are 12-8 against the Steelers.
Did you know that? You probably didn't since the games are always so tight.
Also Vince Young has never faced the Steelers in his career! I didn’t know that!
Yvonne: I think this may be a good thing for Titans. Word is, Vince has been studying hard,
preparing for the visiting Steelers. A studied, prepared VY could be dangerous.
Titans’ offensive coordinator Mike Heimerdinger seems to be really confident in VY and his ability
Yvette: I believe it will be more of the same. A defense-ladened game.
Yvonne: My kind of game.
Yvette: Last week the Titans faced the Raiders and found a weakness in their D-line. They exposed the weakness and Chris Johnson was able to get some good runs.
Yvonne: Not to mention their focus on Chris Johnson allowed Vince Young to get some rushing yards, and gave him time to throw. VY’s passes were efficient, and down-right beautiful to watch.
Yvette: This won’t be the case this week. The Steelers ARE NOT the Raiders.
The Steelers Defensive Line, are MONSTERS and it the Titans will be hard pressed to find any holes they can take advantage of. So Chris Johnson will not have a big day.
Yvonne: And the Titans are not the Falcons.
Granted, Steelers managed to get a W in Week 1. However, Atlanta was able to hold them to field goals for 4 quarters. That does not bode well for the Steelers, they will have to do better than that against Tennessee. Titans have a stout defense, and they have too many offensive weapons.
Yvette: Both offenses will definitely depend on Quarterback play of Dennis Dixon and Vince Young. Dixon will make short yardage passes and continue relying on Hines Ward.
Yvonne: Definitely. Steelers may start to miss Big Ben after this game. Dixon was adequate against the Atlanta defensive. However, adequate (short yardage passes) will not be enough to challenge the Titans defense. The question is, will the Steelers Defense be able to stifle both Vince Young and Chris Johnson?
Yvette: If the Titans secondary is really new and improved that they showed last week, they can contend with Ward. However, that remains to be seen. This game will come down to which QB will make the fewest mistakes.
Therefore, I give the upper hand to the Titans.
Yvonne: I’m going with the Titans as well. Both teams will be heavily reliant upon their air game. And if it comes down to Titans’ long ball versus Steelers’ short ball, then I’m going with the Titans.
Yvette: On another note: Chris Johnson’s dreds look better. Still not great, but that short unruly one in the front has been addressed J Thank you, CJJ

It's so good to have a DEFENSE that can run the show. Even with Big Ben out, the Steelers remain a force to reckon with. So, as I always predicted, we win!! On to the next one. We are hoping that Dixon is better in time for the Ravens, at least. While Batch is a veteran, he is very fragile. He did the best he could on Sunday, and 2 of his good passes failed to be caught. However, Dixon's mobility is a plus. While he is still trying to gain the needed experience, I believe the coaches are going to have to let Dixon play HIS game. Yay Steelers 2-0
Yes, MDSteelerGal...Such a sad display by the Titans....Sigh....
The Steelers' Defense was was so relentless, CJ stopped running....
Good luck with the QB situation...
