Last night, Pigskin Loving Lady, The NFL Chick, the Gridiron Gals writers, Bmore Umissedit and their friends, came together to celebrate the kickoff of the 2010 NFL season. We wanted to congregate amongst our own, talk about football, celebrate it's return and advise everyone that GGals are starting their Blog Talk Radio show, starting next Tuesday, 9/14 at 9pm.
The event was a SUCCESS! We anticipated a nice crowd, but instead got a big one. Football fans from as far as Richmond, VA came out to watch the Vikings/Saints game last night with us and it was a great event. From cash prizes, to giveaways and even drawings for shots (yes, cause that's how we get down!), everyone enjoyed themselves at last night's event.
Everyone is asking, "When is the next event?" For now, that's to be determined. Hopefully the next time around, it will be in a city near you, doing an Award Tour!
Thanks to everyone that came out. Special shout out goes to LarDarius Webb, Brandon McKinney, Danelle Ellerbe and Marcus Smith of the Baltimore Ravens who also made an appearance at the GGals Kickoff Party. Til next time!
